Dr. Shannon Watkins
Dr. Shannon Watkins, assistant professor at the University of Iowa, specializes in public health, environmental equity, and youth health. Dr. Watkins has been involved in over 17 research publications ranging from the effects of Tobacco to food systems to urban systems. Located in the Community and Behavioral Health department, Dr. Watkins has been known for her voicing of environmental inequities, cancer research, and e-cigarette research.
