Claire Carlson

Claire Carlson graduated in May 2020 with a degree in Geoscience. In college, she was actively involved in two student organizations where she served as the Sustainability Chair for Women in Business and was the first President of the Environmental Science Club. While in school, she became interested in the field of environmental conservation and participated in multiple conservation-related internships, including Marine Lab Intern at the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation, Land Steward for Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation, and Land Steward for Bur Oak Land Trust. Currently, she works as a Planning Coordinator for Conservation Districts of Iowa where she assists 24 NE Iowa Soil and Water Conservation Districts in the development of their 5-year Soil and Water Resource Conservation Plans.
